Burr Oak, Iowa is a small village in Winneshiek County in Iowa, very close to the Minnesota state line. The population is only about 120.

It's known as one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's (Little House on the Prairie) places of live (1876-1877). This is where Grace Ingalls; the youngest of Ingalls children, was born in 1877. There is Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in local Masters Hotel.
