The Budapest Stock Exchange is a relatively new stock exchange headquartered in Budapest, capital of Hungary.
It replaced the unofficial "Budapest Stock Exchange Index" used during the phases of transition from a socialist to a market economy. The exchange presently contains 20 stocks.
