Bruce Douglas Bochy (born April 16, 1955 in Landes de Boussac, France) is a former catcher in Major League Baseball who played with the Houston Astros (1978-80), New York Mets (1982) and San Diego Padres (1983-87).

He became the manager of the San Diego Padres in 1995 and was named the NL Manager of the Year in 1996. In 1998, Bochy led the Padres to their first National League pennant in 14 years.
