Brian Cole (September 8, 1942 – August 2 1972) was the bass guitar player for the 1960s folk rock band The Association. Like all of that band's members, he also sang.
Cole was born in Tacoma, Washington.
He died in Los Angeles, California of a heroin overdose at the age of 30, and, as of 2005, was the only original member of the Association to have died.
He had two sons, Jordan and Chandler.
Jordan is now a member of "The Association" providing keyboards, guitar, vocals and drums
