Nl-Breukelen.ogg is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. It is situated along the river Vecht and close to the Loosdrechtse Plassen, an area of lakes and great natural beauty. During the 17th century a number of Amsterdam merchant families built opulent mansions along the river near Breukelen.

The Amsterdam-Rhine Canal passes Breukelen.
