Brent Harding is a bass player for the famous California punk group Social Distortion.

He joined Social Distortion in early 2005 and replaced Matt Freeman, who is best known for working as the bass player of a band called Rancid.

Harding was a stand-in bass player for Social Distortion's Mike Ness during Ness' "Cheating At Solitiare" tour. His previous bands include Deke Dickerson And The Ecco-Fonics, The Eugene Edwards Band, and The Lucky Stars. He also plays stand up for an insurgent bluegrass band called Whiskey Chimp in his home town of Ventura, Ca.
