Bottles the mole is one of the main charaters in the Banjo-Kazooie series of games. He is a stereotypical geek, with large, thick, cokebottle framed glasses (hence his name), and is pretty pudgy. He has appeared in every Banjo-Kazooie game so far, except for Grunty's Revenge, where he was only mentioned by Banjo and Mumbo.

Banjo-Kazooie

Bottles' main job in Banjo-Kazooie is to assist the player. One could find him in many of the worlds, and he would teach those who find him new moves for free. He and Kazooie constantly fire insults at each other throughout the game (though, to be fair, he starts them). He appears in the following levels. He is often called Jam Jars and Bozzeye by Kazooie, which is the name of his brother and an old relative.

Spiral Mountain
Gruntilda's Lair
Mumbo's Mountain
Treasure Trove Cove
Clanker's Cavern
Bubblegloop Swamp
Freezeezy Peak
Gobi's Valley

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo Tooie, Bottles has it a little different. He dies within the first ten minutes of the game. So he is the main reason Banjo and Kazooie go after Gruntilda in that game. We also learn that he has a wife, Mrs. Bottles, two kids, Speccy and Goggles, and a brother, JamJars, who takes over for him in this game. However, he wasn't originally going to stay useless the entire game. A secret game mode, called Bottles' Revenge, was locked away in 'Tooie cartridges until recently, when hackers Ice Mario and SubDrag of the RareWitch Project hacked a GameShark code to unlock this mode. In this mode, two-players are playing. One controls Banjo, the other controls Devil Bottles, and can possess nearby enemies by pressing "R," and have complete control over them. If the duo enters a Boss stage, however, Devil Bottles will say that he's "not needed" and disappear. It is still unknown if this mode is accessible without GameShark. This mode was deleted due to the fact that is was too "evil" for a Banjo-Kazooie game.

Banjo-Pilot

Bottles appears as the host of the races, similar to T.T. in Diddy Kong Racing. Also like T.T., the player must race against him, collect six Jiggy pieces, and win in each level. He is also an unlockable character, and one of the best, outflying nearly every other pilot.
