Billy Jackson (born 1995 in Wellington, New Zealand) is the first son of film director Peter Jackson and his wife, screenwriter and producer Fran Walsh. He has had cameo appearances in every one of his parents' films since his birth, being the baby in the jumper in The Frighteners (1996), a young hobbit in The Fellowship of the Ring (film) (2001), a Rohan refugee in The Two Towers (film) (2002) and a Gondorian child in The Return of the King (film) (2003), as well as a brief cameo as a newsboy in the opening scenes of King Kong. In the three Lord of the Rings films, he has appeared alongside his younger sister, Katie, while in King Kong, his scene preceded hers.
