Introduction


The Beirut Internet Relay Chat Network is one of the largest real-time Lebanese Chat networks in the world with approximately 7 public servers for clients located in different countries and serving a virtual meeting place where people from all over the world can meet and talk. It was established in March 2005.

Discussion


You'll find the whole diversity of human interests, ideas, and issues here, and you'll be able to participate in group discussions on one of the many IRC channels, or just talk in private to family or friends, wherever they are in the world.

Support


You can maintain and protect your own channel by using the Beirut's Channel Service. Also, you can register and protect your nickname using the NS bot. Beirut IRC provides two support channels for its clients: #Help and #Service . If you are interested in linking a server to the Beirut IRC Network feel free to join #Routing and check the Routing Page. Clients


To chat on beirut you need an IRC client, if you don't have one download BIRC (It includes a Radio, Voice chat and Video) or click on Chat. If you have an IRC client installed (such as mIRC, irssi, xChat) just type /server irc.beirut.com in your IRC client.

Administration


The Network Administrators of this IRC Network are Stefano El Douaihy (Stefano @ IRC), Mike Minassian (Hayasdan @ IRC), and Dimitar Tnokovski (Mitko @ IRC). The whole Staff can be seen at the Beirut IRC Network Staff page.
