Bart Jan-Baptist Marie ("Bart") Brentjens (born on October 10, in Haelen) is a Dutch cyclist, specialized in mountain bike.
He won gold (mountainbike) in the 1996 Summer Olympics as well as bronze in the 2004 Summer Olympics. His victory at the 1996 Summer Olympics is especially noteworthy since it was the first time that cross-country mountenbiking was an official event at the Summer olympics.
