Barnards Green is a popular district centre in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England situated about 1/2 mile down the hill from the main town centre. The main road (Barnards Green Road, B4211 – B4208) forks around either side of a grassed traffic island called Twelve Apostles Island with a cut through for traffic joining Court Road, and is notorious for confusing learner drivers.
Some national retailers such as Somerfield and Bargain Booze are represented alongside smaller independent shops and a variety of hot-food takeaways including fish and chips, Chinese and Indian.
There are bus stops at the western and eastern ends of the shopping area and a council run car pay and display car park a short walk to the east. Time limited street parking is available for free.
The Barnards Green officially encompasses several housing areas around the main shopping area. However, most locals only recognise the area around the traffic island to be Barnards Green.
