Barnaba Oriani (1752 - 1832) was an Italian Barnabite and scientist.

Oriani was born in Carignano, and died in Milan in 1832.

He was the Director of the Brera Astronomical Observatory for over 50 years, and was a good friend of Giuseppe Piazzi. He published frequent valuable dissertations. His memoirs containing his calculation of the orbit of Uranus and a table of elements of that planet were especially noteworthy.
