Bacardi Breezer is an alcoholic beverage with 4 or 5% alcohol. It comes in a variety of flavours: lemon, pineapple, apple, rubygrapefruit, lime, orange, watermelon, cranberry, orange light and lemon light.
In The Netherlands the term Breezersletje (Breezer slut) is used for girls who use Breezers as a primary means to get drunk (or at least inebriated) or, who in exchange for a Breezer, will let themselves be chatted up.
Breezer-speak is used to describe the linguistic phenomenon used by many teenagers on chatsites and via personal messaging. In this dialect, Breezer would be spelled like either: Br3ez4h or BrEeZaH. This dialect is, or is closely related to, leet.
The Breezer is relatively popular in regions outside of the United States, such as in the United Kingdom where it is very popular among young adults. Bacardi attempted to launch the drinks in the US, but it failed to garner any attention at all.
