Azerification is a term used to describe a cultural change in which something ethnically non-Azerbaijani people is made to become Azerbaijani.

The term is often used in relation to Armenians. During the time of the Soviet Union, Armenians claim that the Azerbaijani government pursued a policy of Azerification in Nagorno-Karabakh
