Arthurdale is an unincorporated community located in Preston County, West Virginia, USA. Arthurdale was named for Richard Arthur, the owner of the land on which it was built. It is the only place in the United States with this name. It was one of the first New Deal communities established under Franklin Delano Roosevelt's administrations.
