Created in 1991, A|X is a brother retailer of Giorgio Armani. It is geared towards younger customers and features urban style products.

Armani Exchange is the most affordable of all the Armani lines, and is mostly targeted at the American market, where demand for the more expensive ranges is much lower than in Europe, where there is a larger tradition for high fashion. It is also geared toward older teens and young adults with fashion foward style.
