Arash Borhani (Persian: آرش برهانى , born September 14, 1983 in Kerman, Iran) is an Iranian football player, who currently plays for Al Nasr in the UAE.
He is one of the fastest and most technical players in Iranian football and is considered to be a player with great potential. He caught football fans' and pundits' attention with flashes of brilliance in the 2002/03 season. He was called to the Olympic team, where he had some great performances, including four goals in two games versus Uzbekistan. Despite the talent on the team, the Iranian Olympic team did not qualify for the Olympic games.
Around the same time he was called up to the Iranian national team and scored some crucial goals, such as the tying goal versus Qatar in a World Cup qualifying match. He has not made it as a starter in the national team yet, but was a fixed starter in his club Pas, and was one of its stars in its Asian Champions League campaign. Shortly before the 2006 World Cup, Borhani signed for UAE side, Al Nasr.
He was among Iran's final squad for 2006 World Cup.
