Apophysis is a free, open source fractal flame editor for Microsoft Windows.
It was created by Mark Townsend and has since been improved and updated by Peter Sdobnov, Piotr Borys, Susan Chambless and Ronald Hordijk (the Sourceforge project developers).
Fractal Flames were originally developed in 1992 by Scott Draves
It is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).
It is very easy to make such renders with Apophysis. There are many triangular shapes, and, you must drag them to a different point to create a different effect.
