America () is a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Horst aan de Maas, and lies about 16 km northwest of Venlo. Its name gives rise to jokingly confusing remarks (but note that the name of the continent(s) is spelled "Amerika" in Dutch). Famous are the stories of people receiving mail a year too late after it has travelled around the world.

In 2001, the town America had 1056 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.21 km2, and contained 397 residences.Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001 Statistics are for the continuous built-up area. Including the surrounding countryside, America had 2170 inhabitants as of 2004.Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Gemeente Op Maat 2004 - Horst aan de Maas [http://www.cbs.nl/nl-NL/menu/themas/nederland-regionaal/nederland-regionaal/publicaties/gemeente-op-maat/2004/alfabet/h/2004-horst-aan-de-maas.htm.

The most famous export product of the village America is probably the Tex-Mex band Rowwen Hèze.
