The Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC) is a multimodal transit hub located at 100 1st Street SW in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was built as a replacement for the old Albuquerque train station, which had burned in 1993. The first phase of the project was completed in 2002 and serves most of the city's east-west ABQRide bus routes as well as the Rapid Ride BRT route. It also includes offices for the Albuquerque Transit Department. Phase II, currently under construction, will add facilities for Amtrak, Greyhound Lines, and the new Rail Runner commuter rail line.
The complex stands on the site of the old train station and the Alvarado Hotel, which was demolished in 1970. The Mission Revival-style ATC was designed to be reminiscent of the old buildings, with many architectural elements borrowed from the Alvarado.
