All This, and Heaven Too is a 1940 film which tells the story of a governess, accused of having an affair with her employer, a Duc, who is then accused of the Duchesse's murder.

It stars Bette Davis, Charles Boyer, Barbara O'Neil, Jeffrey Lynn, Virginia Weidler, Helen Westley, Walter Hampden, Henry Daniell, Harry Davenport, George Coulouris, Montagu Love, Janet Beecher and June Lockhart

The film was adapted by Casey Robinson from the novel by Rachel Field. It was directed by Anatole Litvak.

While the movie was not a box-office success, it was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, due partially to the box-office credentials of Bette Davis. For her third-billed role, O'Neil was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Previously, she had received much acclaim for her role as Scarlett O'Hara's mother in "Gone With The Wind." She was only one of many actors from the film who found support from the Academy for their future work, including Olivia DeHavilland and Thomas Mitchell.
