Akshaye Khanna (born March 28, 1975 in Mumbai, India) is a popular actor in India.
Akshaye made his debut in his father's production of Himalay Putra. In his film career, Akshaye Khanna is known for his heroic roles and stunts. Khanna found success in Subhash Ghai's Taal (1999), co-starring Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor as well as in Dil Chahta Hai (2001). He portrayed his first villainous role in Humraaz, his performance was applauded and he received a nomination for the Filmfare Best Villain Award. He recently found some success with Priyadarshan in low concept comedies Hungama(2003) & Hulchul(2004).
He is currently working on Nikhil Advani's multi-starrer, A Tribute To Love.
His brother Rahul Khanna is also in the film industry.
In 1998, Khanna won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his role in Border. In 2002, Khanna won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, for his role in Dil Chahta Hai.
