Lounis Aït Menguellet is a Berber singer from Kabylie, Algeria, who sings in the Berber language. He is born on January 17, 1950 in Ighil Bouammas, a small village of Kabylie, situated in the Djurdjura mountains, near Tizi-Ouzou.
