Agent Ransack is a freeware utility for Microsoft Windows that can be used to search for files on a computer. It is made by Mythicsoft, and is a cut-down "lite" version of the commercial software FileLocator Pro.
It is especially useful when searching for files whose name and/or location is unknown, but are known to contain specified text. For example, you may be searching for a Microsoft Word document that you know contains the phrase "once upon a time", but you have no idea what you named the file or where it is located. Agent Ransack can be used to search for files containing the phrase in question. Agent Ransack also integrates into the operating system shell.
