Advertising Age is a magazine, chronicling news, analysis, information and data on advertising, marketing and media. The magazine was started as a broadsheet newspaper in Chicago in 1930. Today, its content appears in a print weekly distributed around the world and in many electronic platforms, including a real-time news site at AdAge.com and email newsletters like Madison & Vine (about branded entertainment), MediaWorks (about the media business from magazines to handheld screens) and Ad Age China. The Ad Age Group also publishes a monthly magazine called Creativity, about the creative process, and a monthly supplement about marketing strategies called Point. Ad Age is published by Crain Communications, a privately-held publishing company with more than 30 magazines, including Crain's New York Business, Crain's Chicago Business, Automotive News and Television Week.
