Admiralty (Trad. Chinese: 金鐘, Jyutping: gam1 zung1, pinyin: Jīnzhōng, lit. "golden bell") station is an MTR station located on the Hong Kong Island, in an area often referred to as Admiralty. The station's livery is dodger blue. The station connects the with the .
The station is named after the HMS Tamar (a place of land now known as Tamar site), once the headquarters of the Royal Navy in Hong Kong - this, even though HMS Tamar had never actually been the Admiralty. It was built on the former site of the Hong Kong dockyards, which was built in 1878 and demolished in the 1970s.
Passengers from areas east of Admiralty travelling to Kowloon can change trains by passing from platform 2 straight through the concourse to platform 1.
Platforms 3 and 4 share the same concourse. Passengers arriving from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island can change trains to all destinations east of Admiralty by walking across the concourse.
