The AMX 30 AuF1 is a ground-ground artillery system using the AMX 30 hull.
It is now in service in the French Army, which operates 400 units. Though heavier than the AMX-30, the AuF1 retains similar mobility. It is able to shoot 6 rounds in 45 seconds, and can deploy swiftly.
These systems were used during the Siege of Sarajevo by the French artillery detachement of the IFOR, where they helped silence artillery positions of the Bosno-Serbian forces.
