- 5200: Formation of a Type II civilization under the Kardashev scale.
Science fiction
In 5161 (or, more accurately, CY 10087), the Andromeda Ascendant will be rescued by the crew of the Eureka Maru (for the television series Andromeda).
In 5700 According to Amalgam Comics conitnuity, the future equivalent or Iron Lantern at this point will be Arno Manning, defending a futuristic Coast City.
Also in 5700, at this point, DC Comics have also stated that the Green Lantern at this point will be Pol Manning, representing Earth in the Green Lantern Corps in the future.
In the 2005 series of the TV show Doctor Who, one of the Doctor's companions is Captain Jack Harkness, a defrocked time agent of the time police, originally from the 51st century. Also, the events of The Girl in the Fireplace take place partly during sometime in the 51st Century.
