A 3-dimensional motion controller is a computer interface device that allows a user to move in three diensions (X,Y,Z). They are commonly utilized in CAD applications, 3d modeling, animation and product visualization. A motion controller replaces the keyboard as the use for the user's left hand when using an application. A user can then manipulate the controller to zoom, pan and rotate in the 3d environment.
