102 Dalmatians is a 2000 live-action film, produced by The Walt Disney Company and starring Glenn Close as the villainous Cruella de Vil. It is a sequel to the 1996 film 101 Dalmatians, itself a live-action remake of the 1961 Disney animated feature One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

In the film, Cruella de Vil attempts to steal puppies for her "grandest" fur coat yet.

Plot summary

After three years in prison, Cruella de Vil is appeared to have paid her debt to society and is set free, as she pledges to have nothing to do with animal fur (especially dogs) ever again. Meanwhile, Kevin operates an animal shelter that has fallen on hard times; unless he is caring for will have nowhere to go. Kevin gets the idea of bringing his plight to the people through the press, but media reports of the shelter's problems were attracted by an unlikely benefactor — Cruella, who learns about the shelter thanks to Ewan, shelter employee who lets a picture of it at the office of Chloe, who happens to be both Cruella and Ewan's probation officer. While Ms. de Vil claims the purest of intentions, it seems Kevin could be the perfect escape goat for Cruella to go back into dognapping, and in cahoots with mad fashion designer Monsieur Jean Pierre Le Pelt, she plans to turn 102 puppies into haute couture.
