The HEC School of Management (in French, the École des Hautes Études Commerciales) is a business school, and one of the most prestigious French Grandes Écoles. It was founded in 1881 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. In 1969, HEC Paris launched the HEC MBA Program, becoming one of Europe's leading MBA Schools. It aims to differentiate from other MBAs thanks to its diversity, its bilingual option, its 16-months curriculum structure, and the MBA Tournament organized by its students.
Admission to the MBA Program at the HEC School of Management program is comparable to those of other prominent international business schools requiring GMAT, as well as significant work experience, essays, recommendations, and an interview. French is not compulsory for this MBA since it is taught in English, even though some courses in French are available for those sufficiently fluent. The MBA Program also has exchange and double degree partnerships with numerous universities and business schools around the world.
