Waterkant (sprich: Woaderkannt) ist eine poetische Plattdeutsche Bezeichnung für Küste. Umgangssprachlich meint man damit vor allem die Küste in Norddeutschland sowie einen nicht näher spezifizierten Landstreifen entlang der Küste.
