Uusimaa ist eine historische Landschaft in Südfinnland. Die offiziellen Sprachen sind Finnisch und Finnlandschwedisch (schw. finlandssvenska).

Bei der Verwaltungsreform 1997 wurde die alte Landschaft Uusimaa in Uusimaa/Nyland und Itä Uusimaa/Östra Nyland aufgeteilt.
