Sami Tuomas Hyypiä (* 7. Oktober 1973 in Porvoo, Finnland) ist ein finnischer Fußballspieler. Der Abwehrspieler, der in Finnland, Holland und jetzt für den FC Liverpool in England spielt, spielt auch regelmäßig für sein Land. Seit seinem Debüt gegen Tunesien, schoss er 4 Tore in 68 Länderspielen (Stand Mai 2005).
