Mit dem Oscar für die beste Kamera werden die Kameraleute eines Films geehrt. Von 1938 bis 1966 (außer 1958) wurden die Oscars für Schwarzweiß- und Farbfilm getrennt vergeben, es gab also zwei Oscars für die beste Kameraführung.
