Die New York Post ist eine Boulevardzeitung aus New York. Sie ist wesentlich populistischer aufgemacht als USA Today und besonders nach dem 11. September und während des Irakkriegs recht konservativ, Patriotismus und ähnliche politisch nach rechts tendierende Themen wurden betont. Die New York Post wurde im Jahre 1977 von Rupert Murdoch gekauft.
