Die National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, auch NAACP genannt, ist eine der ältesten und einflußreichsten Bürgerrechtsorganisationen der USA. Sie ging aus dem 1905 gegründeten Niagara Movement hervor und wurde 1909 begründet, um zugunsten der afro-amerikanischen Bevölkerung zu arbeiten.
