Monte Carlo ist ein Stadtteil von Monaco, der für seine Casinos, Strand und Prominenz bekannt ist. Es wird manchmal fälschlicherweise als Hauptstadt von Monaco ausgegeben, obwohl dies nicht der Fall ist und Monaco überhaupt keine Hauptstadt hat, da es ein reiner Stadtstaat ist. Als Verwaltungszentrum kann man den Stadtteil Monaco-Ville ansehen, in dem zahlreiche Behörden, das Schloss und die Kathedrale liegen.

Hier startet und endet alljährlich die Rallye Monte Carlo. Außerdem führt die Strecke des Großen Preis von Monaco der Formel 1 durch Monte Carlo.
