Masbate besteht aus folgenden Inseln:

• Masbate (Insel) (3296 km², 435.200 Einwohner)
• Burias (424 km², 76.400 Einw.)
• Ticao (334 km², 72.900 Einw.)

Hauptwirtschaftszweige sind Mais- und Reisanbau, Fischerei und Rinderzucht.
