Largs ist eine kleine Touristenstadt am Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire, Schottland. Der Name Largs leitet sich vom schottischen Gälisch Na Leargaidh Ghallda - die Abhänge (the slopes) ab.

1263 wurde in Largs der norwegische König Haakon IV. von Alexander III. von Schottland geschlagen. Zur Erinnerung an diesen Sieg gibt es das Vinkingar! Zentrum. Es existiert eine Fährverbindung zur Isle of Cumbrae.
