Die Hausheide ist neben der gleichhohen dem Lippischer Velmerstot die dritthöchste Erhebung des Eggegebirges in Deutschland.
Nur ca. 2 km westlich von Bad Driburg ragt er 441 m hoch auf. Ausflugsziel in der Nähe ist die Ruine Iburg.
