Egypt.Cairo.CairoTower.01.jpg Der Fernsehturm Kairo ( Burdsch al-Qāhira, ägyptisch-arabisch Burg el-Qāhira) ist ein 187 Meter hoher Fernsehturm in Stahlbetonbauweise, der in seiner Bauweise an eine Lotusblume erinnert. Der Fernsehturm Kairo wurde 1961 fertiggestellt und besitzt eine für den Publikumsverkehr geöffnete Aussichtsplattform und ein drehbares Restaurant.
