Glen Echo is a town located in Montgomery County, Maryland. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 242.
The town is famous for its chautauqua cultural events and its old amusement park, Glen Echo Park, which is now a National Park.
Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross, lived in Glen Echo the last 15 years of her life.
